SKIF Ireland Former Chairman Greg Manning

Dear Club Instructors,

It is with a heavy heart that I must convey the news of the passing of SKIF Ireland Former Chairman Sensei Greg Manning, 7th Dan SKIF, who peacefully passed on February 27th, 2024, after a brief illness, surrounded by his beloved family.

Sensei Manning's influence, both as a former Chairman and a dedicated karate practitioner, has been fundamental to the very essence of SKIF Ireland. His leadership and reputation extended far beyond Ireland and provided the bedrock upon which our organisation stands, earning him respect and admiration worldwide.

The news of Sensei Manning’s passing will undoubtedly resonate deeply, as Sensei Manning's memory will forever remain etched in our hearts. Details regarding arrangements and condolences will be available on rip.ie in the coming days.

Additionally, we respectfully request that SKIF Ireland senior instructors to wear their SKIF Blazers and Greys as a mark of respect.
